SSAS 2005 Backup/Restore Limitation

If you have a partition file, which is larger than 2GB in size and you may receive below error when you try to run a MDX query against this particular partition (> 2GB) AFTER restoring this database from the backup.

You want to move / copy your database / databases from Source Server to Destination Server.

Workaround 1:

Copy Data Directory From Source to Backup Server / Destination.
