Drill-Through on Calculated measures and Excel
Drill-through on calculated measures is disabled in Excel. This is because usually it does not makes sense to drill-through on a calculated measure. However, in some cases it does makes sense; for example a calculated measure that is based on records from only one fact table and operates on a record by record basis. An example is a simple calculation like Measure A * Measure B or Measures C * 0.75., etc. It is perfectly reasonable to want to be able to click on these and see the underlying records.
