Sample application to browse Analysis Services 2005 cube. The application includes aspects of both a cube browser and a query builder. The most interesting feature of the cube browser is a third axis selector that allows the selection of a member from a third axis. The query builder is more interesting; more so as an aid towards learning MDX than an actual tool for casual consumers of OLAP data. Basically, the query builder is a “DOM-oriented” UI. Meaning, a query is built by constructing nodes of a tree. I think this DOM approach towards building a query browser is very effective.
